This will be my first recap since July so too say that I’m a little rusty would be an understatement.

With all of the changes that have happened during the past year, I have to admit that I’m a little suprised at how well the game seems to be surviving despite many unhappy players.

Well its been a very long time since anybody has posted anything up on this news site but its mostly due to the fact that the people that write the articles either left the game or more or less stopped playing. Their is no doubt that this post will probably go unread for sometime since their would be no reason to check out the news site but eventually it will strike someones curiosity to check and then people will start coming to check more frequently.

It would appear that the game has somewhat stabalized from the nearly constant changes that had been taking place more or less over the past six months. All in all alot of the changes have been reversed. I know most people, myself included are happy that the family sizes are back to 20. Their have been some changes to the staff as well with some long time helpers becoming mods and some mods either leaving the game or resigning their positions. We have a new helper in Chongo as well.

All in all the dust has settled and were left with a new mobster. One that lacks most of the fun and excitment of the glory days and one that usually includes a un-contested jackpot.

So here we are, June 2009, will their be a mobster in June 2010? time will tell. I’m interested to here your comments on here about the changes that have taken place and your opinions about the future of the site.

Hopefully this will spark a desire for people to start writting more articles. –>

One could argue that TheSlayer is perhaps the most well respected by mobster to ever play the game. In most cases, when he goes for a medal, he gets it uncontested. That is exactly what TheSlayer did in round 196 when he built for gold on the first night and went the entire round without being attacked. With a busy schedule as the game’s only Admin as well as obligations on other web sites, TheSlayer still finds time to be perhaps the most consistent ranker in the game. Mobsters this is the first of many interviews to come. I picked CADBURY for this interview becuase hes starting to make a name for himself. Most of you know that he is very talented, but what I like the most is that hes been making a name for himself as a Level 1 and a Level 2 mobster. He has not been a supporter for some time now. Alright this is my first time writing an article for The Mobster. It’s
been slow lately so I’m going to try and get the ball rolling again on
the news site. Let’s start off with all of the buzz that’s flying
around The Mobster.

Most of the talk lately has been about all the changes taking place
around here. Most of you noticed while trying to get into round 188
that there was approximately an hours delay due to Omar changing some
things around. I was told by a few mobsters that they found themselves
clicking on their names over and over again before they finally
