Interview

Hey mafia_inc thanks for taking the time to address the questions other mobsters may be
asking.

Lets start out with some basic history for those newish mobsters that havent yet realized your
status as a established ranker,as well as some questions we’ll be asking all interviewed
mobsters.

1.When did you first start playing mobster, how did you come to be here and what was your first impression of our site and how does it compare to your perception of it now?

WELL, Its been 3.5 years since summer of 06 I want to say. Found a random email talking about free online mobster game, come check it out. Being the gangster ass mofo that I am, I naturally checked it out and wasnt taken much by it since I was always a PC and console gamer. So I really wasnt too impressed at first- But it was something new and different than what I was accustomed to. Being open minded I thought “well theres a lot of other people here, seems cool, its free to play so I’ll give it a shot.” I picked a noob mobster name like Jmoney(my old street name) and tried to play. Needless to say like 99.275% of the noobs out there I got my ass pwnd and schooled over and over. LOL had to learn the hard way that my DUs needed guns to survive lol, had to figure out how the hell these guys seemed to know when I had cash on hand every time like theyre psychics LOL and everytime I logged back in my OPs were always taken by frankf from IO. Frustrated, pissed off, and determined to learn how to master the game I called my cousin known to most as Teflon to join the game. I told him it was sumthing different and to jsut check it out. Him being the gangster ass mofo that he is- checked it out.

As 2 noobs, we still LOL about the days when we would attack sumone and find over 100k-mill
cash on hand thinking it was alot of money and being all excited about it. Needless to say we
still got our OPs whacked daily but we DID however finally find out about using rankings
page(s) to loot, or scavenge ’scav’ cash on hand from other players like what used to happen
to us. thats when it all started to click and got really addicting. Next learning phase was the
scout protection when game clock changed. Thanks to a few cool vets in CS we were now
‘insiders’ to having an edge in the game which now seems almost common knowledge to all. Most of the supporters knew we were noobs asking dumb questions and never seemed to respond to my messages and tho I can respect and appreciate where theyre coming from now-I still felt that after I became good enuff at this game I would be a supporter myself and be kind to noobs- and be that one supporter that took the time out to respond to messages- and help teach them about the inside strategies to the game- I wanted to be that one cool ass mofo that would be remembered down the road when they became good strong players themselves that It was me that took a chance on them, and helped them out- hopefully earning respect points and a small sense of loyalty from them- which as karma states comes around goes around. Anyone in my fam knows that I still always have that soft spot for noobs and will always take a young jedi noob padawan in the fam to help bring them up.

Anyways, back to the Incster’s noob story… lol

So after a long time of frustration trying to rank as a free player, and having a few extra
moneys to spend, Tef and I took the supporter plunge. He dropped couple hundred bucks to take frankf out, I bought a sub and a few creds. We earned a little respect by doing that then- but not nearly as much as we wanted or needed to be considered top respected mobsters in this game. So we kept playing, buying, networking.

and the years have passed… lol

Unbiased opinion-regardless of being on staff now or not- My perception of this game now in so many ways is like Im still that noob player thrilled by the fun of scavvin, working hard, and
just trying to rank. I take the strategic end of it all and enjoy the struggle and strife as
much as I hate it- I become a stronger player, and person by it. Aside from my occasional hate
mail of trying to cut sumone to the deepest most inner core of who they are as a human being
after being whacked lol, I enjoy messaging my friends and allies trying to get sumone else
whacked or devising wicked strategies to take out those inglorious bastards that took our fams
ops. I like to rally the troops-and give my soapbox speeches that have a tendancy to reveal
alot about the charecter of who I am as a real person in real life- with that being said those
that are real responded back. As Andre once said, “real recognizes real”. As how I would
handle myself in the streets I handle myself on this game. the networking part of it all is
really what has kept me here and a loyal player after all these years tho, honestly. Ive met so
many really cool down to earth people that are free players and supporters themselves and even now with some of them we text each other every other day or so jsut to see whats up in real life and how theyre family and things in life are going. Or to just tell them to log in and
take sumone out real quick lol.

2.What if any particular title would you prefer to hold at this point in your mobster
carreer?ex.killer or scavenger(scabber)and do you prefer one to the other, also do you think
you do better or do you prefer playing free or useing a few account turns?

I think the title that fits me best is that of being a family don. We roll with the punches, Im
so strong about loyalty among thieves, and I do have my inspirational speeches and strategies I post on the fam business boards. scavver, killer, collector well I can do all 3 of those things rather well and thats why I do make a good informative boss along with strategicly assigning those jobs to certain fam members who match that particlular skillset. Overall, I am a real person as well- so Im not so strict with my family rules- and my loyal crew core knows and respects me for that- as I respect them for staying and remaining loyal to OUR fam. I dont make the fam- It helps to make me- and not one person is the superstar every round. Its a group effort and we have all given our 110% at different times back to and for the family. Granted I wish I had the expendible cash to spend like I used to, and with omar unfortunatly pulling subs, I cant dropmy weekly minimal$25 dollars much less $50-$300-even $1500 dollars like I used to be able to on this game or as I have on others. So I still try to wisely spend the credits I do have in my account, and keep my crew running at a profitable pace as hard as it is sometimes… grrr.

3.Whitch of your medals brought you the most satisfaction, say for instance the one you worked the hardest for?

Every single medal I earned means alot to me, because unles your dropping lots of cash or not
sleeping cuz your scavvin all week lol Its hard as hell to medal on this game in many respects.
One of my bronze supp killers should be a silver but I was stuck in traffic on my way to
college and missed loggin in at EOR that round and got passed by like only a few K in kills,
knocking me down to bronze. MY free medals were in the turbo rounds where our fam really had its chance to shine and prove how bad ass we really were- even taking 1st place fam rank in no add-on rounds. The shitty part was I didnt earn my godfather award for that- which really honestly was the only medal I ever really wanted to earn on this game. But I’m sure in good time one way or another I’ll finally get one- at least I hope so! lmfao! : P

4.Who would you say is the best free, level 2 and level 3 killers and scabbers to date?

As much as I hate to say it (because the only moral ethic they seem to have is that they dont
have any moral ethics-lol) Coffee Shop has always been here and never went anywhere. They
continue to dominate this game and when they go for rank they go all out. I dont agree or
approve of theyre style in killing the innocents- but they prove theyre point that you jsut
dont F*#K with them. With that being said, The Chosen Few (TCF)- however do have moral ethics with theyre ass kiking for the most part. But theyre code of ethics is more based on jsut as theyre name implies. the chosen few. the few people that are friends or allied with them dont get whacked. otherwise when they go for rank most of the game dies- but not all of them! lol Its because of my friendships with so many TCF guys that my crew was able to rank in better positions many rounds when they decimated the competition. Now this brings me to Punks. From what i have noticed in theyre transitions over the years punks now do have the strongest most active online team of scavvers. I remember a few months ago I was scavvin late at nite after the club, it was basicly dead- but the few jumpers there were- a punk was all over that shit. coffee shop used to be like that but so much anymore. DS, IO, they have a good mix as well but nothing that is as active and hungry as how Ive seen consistantly over the years punks being.

5.What are your thoughts on omars past changes to the game and would you be willing to offer any suggestions or creative critizisms?

Overall, I do understand and respect Omars game changing decisions. His biggest negative change in my opinion was dropping subs. He made $100 a month off me alone for the longest and was a decent value for the money. Noob protection is a cool idea but, being a noob and getting my ass stomped was what got me addicted in the first place- and gave me the desire to learn and come back to master this game. Not to mention scavving jsut isnt what it used to be at all. Its almost pointless to stay online to scav when everyone is protected- so you might as well message your friends, use your turns and logoff is what most people do now that I notice.

When nameless ppl or ( to speciifically mention) fams like CS especially 00s the game thats an
assenine way to go- its fine as it is an effective playing style, but it does drive new players
and even some vets away. people are tired of dedicating so much time and energy to playing,
building, collecting- just to get whacked and rounds over for them. Granted this is a mobster
game and Its at no fault to Omar about peoples playing style but it does bring up the feature
that we ourselves have custom coded and were the first ( that I know of ) to implement into our own game- OPs defending themselves.

Otherwise I liked the game how it was 3.5 years ago and felt not much needed changing. I almost prefer it was still that original way(with or without levels)- because with all the competition out there trying to be the same if not better than omars ‘themoster’ sometimes the simplicity yet complexity of this game is where its at where it always was and where 90% of us as mafia game owners and players started out at. SO with that respect, Im here because this is where it all began for me. So I try to roll with the punches of everything omar does or does not change.

6.Who do you honor with your success on mobster,i mean who if anyone taught you to play?

I mentioned that earlier, I really do have to say most of TCF has like a big brother looked out
for us well- and thats who I was able to rank as well as I did sometimes. CS I watched,
learned, and studied theyre playing habits. they really do have a system if anyone has caught
on to it. I see it but I dont speak about it because i took the time to learn them. As much
annomousity as I have for CS I still have lots of respect for them- cuz theyre definatly not
noobs.

7.Whitch mobster do you most dislike,do you have a arch rival?

Wait_N_Kill pissed me off this round. I was hoping goldengate would come back and kik his ass
for the BS he pulled but to no avail. Otherwise I dont have many arch enemies that I can think
of at this point in time. I do have lots of respect for each individual I have met these past
few years on this game and others.

8.What are your plans for the future,do you see yourself continueing your carreer on mobster?

Most definatly. in fact im going to school for my bachelors of science in video game design and
plan to implement what I learn somehow back into a mafia style game if not revamp my own that I have running now- On top of my recording studio that I have- no matter what i think Ill still be here as long as this game is still running.

9.What familys have you been in and whitch one was your favorite?

I was actually at one time or another in every top ranking vet fam there is. Even CS for a
round when i was still a noob & got booted. I made good friends and carried alot of friendships with me even as I started my own crew- to which i do like the best because I am free to be myself- I am relied upon and I can rely on others. Its more fun to strategize for me because Its my ass if I make a bad decision and especially if I order sumthing and my crew follows it.

10.Do you ever see your family becoming the dominate family on mobster?

I think we always have been, still are but in our own way. Were not obviously dropping tons of
cash or turns but we do spend a little. But our allies and my real friendships with people are
what gives us our strength- So dont piss us off cuz maybe one day my crew and all our allies
might have had enough of the B.S. swarm up like a hive of angry bees and sting the shit out of
you from every angle when you least expect it!

11.Do have any comments favorite sayings etc you would like to add?

Yeah have fun and KIK ASS! ; P

As you can see some of the lettering is off a bit, took me a long time just to get it as clean as it currently appears. Other than that I didn’t write it and I didn’t edit a word so don’t take it out on me :P

Great interview. I met Mafia inc a few years back on another game, tru i think, he jumped in the game as a supporter, like me, and we beat each other up, made comments to each other, and then became friends on that game. he really does act this way, easy going and easy to get along with. really loyal guy even though we never have been in the same family. lots of respect for this guy.
