INTERVIEW
Mobsters this is the first of many interviews to come. I picked CADBURY for this interview becuase hes starting to make a name for himself. Most of you know that he is very talented, but what I like the most is that hes been making a name for himself as a Level 1 and a Level 2 mobster. He has not been a supporter for some time now. We can expect to see many medals coming from this Mobster in the future.
BARTENDER - Cadbury ide like to start off by saying thank you for taking the time to let me interview you. I’de like to ask you various questions about the game and yourself.
CADBURY - Your welcome, i’de like to let people know what im all about and what you can expect from me as a Mobster.
BARTENDER - When did you start playing on The Mobster?
CADBURY - I started playing on themobster.com in june of 2007 so it will be 2 years in june.
BARTENDER - I have seen your name a lot lately on the leaderboards. With that said, what side of the mobster do you prefer? Would you rather kill or try going for Networth?
CADBURY - Before, i used to be one of the best slow collectors. Although thats not saying much as it doesn’t take much but luck to slow collect. I flat out suck at scabbing lol and i’m willing to admit it. I didn’t really have much of a name until i started killing actually 8 rounds ago and in thsoe 8 rounds i have medaled twice and had near misses on 3 other rounds. (not bad for just starting)
BARTENDER - What is your opinion on all of the changes that have taken place from the timeyou started playing up
untill now?
CADBURY - Although i frequently get pissed off at the changes that come out of no where it isn’t my place to complain as i don’t support as of now. I just try and adapt and thats really all you can do because crying about it isn’t gonna get u anywhere.
BARTENDER - What Mobster on here do you idolize the most? I mean i know i have many people i want to be like on this game. Who tought you how to be succesful?
CADBURY - There are so many players that i have watched and socialized with on this game that its really hard for me to pick one out to idolize. As far as the most influential player in me becoming what i am now i would have to say that goes straight to DR or KILL_YOU_DEAD as many know him. He is the leader of the KYD fam and is known by pretty much every veteran of the game.
BARTENDER - What is your advice for people who are new to the game?
CADBURY - My advice to people who first begin playing is to keep your big mouth shut. Don’t speak up until u have proved yourself in the game it’s not good to make enemies before you even have a clue what you’re doing. Oh and one more thing if you are a noob thats fine but don’t be the noob who ruins a veterans round for the fun of it. That just pisses everyone off.
BARTENDER - If you could implement your own changes into to this game, what would they be?
CADBURY - Like i said it’s not my place to say whats wrong but if i could implement any change i wanted it would probably be having the 30k aks disappear after the first 30k dus die. Its ridiculous and unrealistic to think that 30k aks keep appearing out of no where, and i like to think the point of the changes being made to this game are to keep it more mobsterlike.
Unfortunately this isn’t true and the changes being made, i feel, are being made soley for the purpose of raising revenue.
BARTENDER - What can we see from you in the future? What are some major accomplishments you wish to achieve?
CADBURY - I plan to continue what im doing and keep the medals comin. Right now I’m kind of tryin to make an x on my profile which is rather noobish but hey its a start. Also depending on how the economic situation in the US is going i may start supporting but only time will tell.
BARTENDER - Whats your game fuel? What keeps you going when your clicking away on the
mobster? and how old are you?
CADBURY - To be honest i have yet to find out why i’m semi addicted to this game.
I’m leaning towards the idea that i hate it when the same name comes up every time on the
leader board, leaving me wanting to rank just to change that.
BARTENDER - Who is your favorite music artist? and song.
CADBURY - My favorite music artist changes all the time lol. I think the one I have stuck with most is definitely Journey. My favorite song currently is dead and gone by TI and Timberlake…don’t ask me why I know its kind of a gay song but hey, lol, I like it.
BARTENDER - There is a very large amount of new families showing up lately. Is there any that you think people should watch out for, or any that you see going far in this game?
CADBURY - With the amount of new families showing up and old vets just putsin around makin up new fams for the hell of it its hard to pick which fams will stick and keep in the top contenders. I think right now the only one I can see potentially having an effect on the game is definitely mafia_inc.
BARTENDER - What famalies have you been in since you started playing?
CADBURY - When i first started ironically i was in mdbspcaws4life, then i joined what was the original KYD fam, then i left and joined the UK guys, then left again and now i am where i am right now(with the modern KYD fam)
BARTENDER - Lastly whats with the name CADBURY? Is there a specific reason you use this name?
CADBURY - When i first started i went by my account ID which is rscki***, then it changed to cadbury about a year and a half ago and ever sense it has stuck. Every now and then I used to use tmg as well but never liked it. I searched for a name for months until i found this one and I don’t know why but i liked it so i stuck with it.
BARTENDER - Well once again thank you for taking your time for this interview. Im glad i got a chance to pick your brain and good luck in the future. Do you have any comments before we go?
CADBURY - I’m not sure the course my family will be taking in the future. I would like to think that I will stay with them for the rest of my time on this game but at this point it seems out of
reach. We have one maybe two supporters and it was announced today 2/23/09 by KYD himself that he is leaving the game indefinitely. So without our don and main supporter i’m not sure about the future of this fam and if it has a chance to be prosperous. As of now I am open to offers.

i dont know why i feel compelled to respond … maybe because this is on a more so public board.
but eladg, if you could read and think beyond one message, i was refuting what OBD said. he said he could have ranked (i assume medal also..) with the new changes. as the changes have come, old school has left. Im doubting his statement saying that wihtout the new changes old school would be back here and he wouldnt be able to. now your idiotic person has to come online to contest a point disconnecting it from the rest of the freaking argument.
so as to your “who cares?” question, please be quiet or read the whole conversation, im not going to bring up a point like that for no reason.
and when did you become ‘not noob’? sneakz only left fairly recently … lol after sneakz left you arent noob anymore? or now that there isnt any competition and lvl 1 is easy that you arent noob anymore?

the only difference between now and when the vets scabbed is the turn set
up and the new protection rule.
i would of been able to beat vets back in the day, but i didnt even know what
scabbing was till a few rounds after the new protection rule came out
and i can beat fried if i tried, just dont care too

well ill end it here. you werent here back then, you dont know what competition is. there once was a ferocity of fking over peoples rounds by spending thousands, whole families looting in order to rank themselves in the family ranks, not even individually. I remember Kelso demanding 4 mil aks outta each member when reserves were at 5k. and now 6 mil aks can take gold on some rounds?
you cant even compare. when wofly and kris_da_boss (can come back to visit) can get a competition to loot in the last hour and rank 2-3? nah.. nah.. gg.
i do believe it was sneakz and atomic that broke free looting records boasting of over 100 bil on a regular round… for a while sneakz was just taking lvl 1 gold left and right adn when atomic wasnt working hed fit in a gold.
this was all when protection was longer mind you, not this measily 15 sec — all 15 sec does is make it easier to loot, therefore in reality, youd have less NW than what you were able to loot
i bet if vader put back an ounce of trying into the game again hed put up easy numbers.
just because you can pick up two easy golds you think you are able to beat them? Ha
after her billionth medal HEAT says ‘id never thought id get bored of this game, its too easy, maybe i need to take a break’ — you cant even compare

again kris, u mention all those names, why should i care about them if they aren’t here? u think i’m still a noob? that’s ur problem. i try to win my medals without scabbing for a full week. so if i get gold with 6mil aks and scabbing 4 hours and the names u mentioned got 100bil with a week of scabbing it’s still the same medal. if u think any1 is better than the other ur wrong. at the time they were really scabbing cs were the only ones that could build dus and scabb without getting hit. if u see a point in getting 20 of the same medal i don’t see it.

kris, were the max build for actives 1,500?
it its not the same when people build it 100-150k ops and only collect with 1000-1500 turns
i haven’t really tried since the new turns set up, but know you can get 3 mil aks just collecting
so 6 mil isnt really good enough for gold just what we seen so far….
eladg, to me a good player, had almost 7 last round…10-12 mil aks can be done
just why do it if we dont need to =P
besides my day of spends hours on this game are over

eladg ‘why should you care?’ why are you even here? lol this convo was between me and OBD. nobody brought you into the conversation. why should you care? i dont know, i brought up these names for OBD idk why you are responding. you are the one that brought up not being a noob anymore, so i asked when did you become not noob considering sneakz only left recently. i didnt not call you a noob etc. please stfu. seriously… i dont know why you would care about past names, i dont care about you, im talking to OBD and if what i say to him — you suddenly apply to yourself and take it personally that im somehow was talking to you… i give up, like many times i already have. please please please, mr. annoying 2008 please shut up.

and OBD, thank you. you are pointing out exactly what i am saying. these days are easy no more time needed. medals are nothing. only medals i respect are those that were gotten are those before the minis began. and 1500 max build was only implemented for 2 rounds nwo LOL so if you are complaing of that .. sigh .. AND, most ppl that are looted are free noobs.. therefoer the 1000k recruit / collect cap is void. the 15 sec protection is much more relevant in my eyes. (so eladg if you are taking this personally too, even though im speaking directly to OBD — you DID have medals before this.. i dont consider you a noob to the game, but you are very annoying — and because you had medals before this, i wonder when you consider yourslef not a noob anymore, this has nothing to do with me considering you a noob or not)

well even tho you didnt like eladg butting in lol, i see what hes saying…
you cant loot drugs and cars with out D’s, some times when i scab with out Ops ill uses my active turns to recruit Ds
just to loot cars before a killer will come along and take em. some times a quarter of my ask is not more will come from looting cars.
as for the 1000k recruit / collect, that alone cuts scabs down to half if not more
even if the max turn build was back to 2000k, only 500 more turns, we would see higher nets for lvl1 rank
im not complaing about it, just saying that makes a big differences.
and i do see where your coming from with the medals,i haven’t gone up ag any one from “back in the days”,
and probably never will…. unless sneakz or atomic or some one pulls a rocky balboa or some thing lol
