Changes
In the past few weeks and months we have seen many changes to The Mobster. While most would agree allot of the changes have been positive… some of the more recent one’s have not.
The first change to be instituted was when the protection was changed from 60 seconds max after using only 1 turn to recruit with too 1 second for every 4 turns for a max of 15 seconds for 60 turns used. While this made it easier for people to build without being attacked it also made it easier for scabbers to rob collectors while they were attempting to bank. This essentially eliminated the slow building lvl 1 collectors that would just build ops until the final day or so and then use their reserves to collect and then bank as high as the could.
The next change instituted was reducing the jackpot to $500 instead of the long standing $1000. I can’t speak for anybody else but I like to play for profit and the idea of dropping 500k account turns to win a five or six hundred dollar jackpot is not appealing to me.
To me, the most significant change is the one giving everyone 30k ak’s to start. While some would argue that it helps reduce farming kills because the players can not sell them… it takes away a fundamental aspect of the game in free killing. I have no problem with giving everyone the ak’s to start but once the initial 30k du’s are killed, the ak’s should be lost with them. The fact that if I kill a noob who has 200k du’s and only 30k aks and the same 30k aks keep defending over and over again is rediculous to say the least. Free killing is hard enough as it is. It takes a skill that people learn over time. Dropping 150k account turns and wiping the board clean takes little skill other than to know how much to build and when the right timing is. I say why let a few assholes farming kills ruin it for the rest of us. If they are suspected by staff Omar should check their messages for evidence and or give the power to do so to someone else. If you get caught farming even once.. you get banned permanently. That would definitely help to resolve the problem in my opinion.
On a lighter note… I have brought up the idea to Omar to have seperate lvl 1 and lvl 2 net worth medals now that it is possible to be a supporter and rank lvl 2. At first glance he seemed too like the idea and I think he might go along with it. Doing this would restore some of the prestige of winning a lvl 1 medal.

The 30k aks is a good idea for farmer’s and I have no problem with it. Alot of us don’t seem to recall over a year ago there was a 100k ak start up and it didn’t stop the killers so what’s 30k? Grow a set and adapt is what I say to the new school killers. People such as cs have no problems adapting .. so should everyone else.

the profiles are too long the way they are, keep the free medals as they are, too many medals is not as good as u think

I agree!Not fair at all for everyone to have to deal with this change because some cheat.If anything like you said they should at least lose the 30k aks once their hit,nice article.

15 seconds is a long time lol only noobs like euphya get hit in this day and age for real
