Well I was looking thru the list of mobsters worthy of an interview and I thought, who better than last rounds double gold winner and the newest member of staff, the one, the only Volty.

Mike: First of all Volty, Welcome to staff!

Volty: Thanks!

Mike: So how long have you been playing thembster.com and how did you first find out about the game?

Volty: Well I’ve been playing for 3 years as of September 16th and my brother introduced me to the game.

Mike: So you’ve been around pretty much since the beginning. I hear those were quite the glory days of the game. I would have liked to have been around back then. So what was the game like in your eyes when you first started playing?

Volty: Well the game has changed quite a bit. I remember back in round 4, for instance there was no
auto-sell of aks, no 20 member families, and no larger amount of players winning turns for
ranking. Not to mention that but also the rounds were 10days long, and scabbing didn’t change
at all. When the rounds went to 7days people still had the same net haha made me mad. There was
also no protection which was awesome, you can notice this by Atomic using the name Escalator
Man in an earlier round and getting over 100bil which is unheard of back then. Then there was a
round with that racketeering b/s. Also the killing started which was very nice for people with
killing expertise and time. Then if I’m not mistaken there was a round where there was no
selling aks or vehicles at all. It was a very difficult round indeed.

Mike: Wow! You have really seen it all! I had no idea that the game had changed so many times like that in the beginning. So how did you come up with the name Volty?

Volty: Well I’m in the military if you didn’t know that, and my job in the military is a technician.
Well some times I have to troubleshoot components, and well measure voltage. I thought that was
a very cool name. So I started using it, then I added my own twist to it, but before that my
name was Oxy63n. I used that name when Dillinger Gang was around one of my first families I was
in. The best free players back then!

Mike: That’s a pretty cool job to have. So.. speaking of famalies, what famalies have you belonged to and how did you end with TCF? Do you have plans of ever leaving?

Volty: Well I have been around the block. No pun intended. To list them Dillinger Gang, The Killer
Tomatoes, Coffee Shop, The Chosen Few, and Flying Solo (Hawkys Family I came up with that name
:D) also many other noobs families just to mess around. There are also many other ones. I
can’t really remember but those are the major ones. Yes I do plan on staying in TCF until my
days here are over.

Mike: I remember reading something about TCF origionally being a branch off of CS that Bookie asked Wolfy to start. Is that true and is that how you came to TCF?

Volty: Yes thats correct we were an extension called Coffee Espresso. And I’m here because I’m with my good friends Joey and Dave and others not to mention.

Mike: So I see you have won quite a few medals, which one did you earn first and which one are you most proud of?

Volty: My first medal was Supporter Gold. It was the cheapest medal I have. I got it in those bonus
rounds where I won quite a bit. My proudest medal is the Killer Gold I Just got, prolly because
I’m a horrible killer and it took me just 255k turns just to get that done. And also I spent
less turns than Dave and got Gold, he got bronze. Haha

Mike: Yes, last round you got double gold so thats definitly a major acheivement although the amount of people that have been doing it seems to be growing by the round. What about your free medals? Anything memorable?

Volty: Oh yeah, where do I start? My gold from round 110 where I was brain aneurysm was very nice. I only added one turn and I got gold. Then round 111 just after that. I got gold again, but my medal I’m most fond of is the round I got silver to Atomic, and Tommygold got his first medal. Well you see I spent that whole round scabbing. I had over 2mil aks within the first few hours because of a stupid supporter that used to be a Mod, not going to say a name tho. And I scabbed him good when sawyer killed his du’s while he was collecting. Then I continued to scab the rest of the round. About 3 days until the round was over Atomic started. Well he caught up fast. About 4mil aks in one hour on the 2nd to last day. I was gone to the gym for only that one hour, and he passed me. Then my morale dropped. And I was pretty much done, but still It was my best free
medal I think. Such fun!

Mike: Wow! Thats really impressive scabbing Perhaps you could teach me a few tips some time? So when did you start supporting and why?

Volty: Well I have been playing the game for a very long time, and before this tour of Iraq, I was very close to being a helper. I was online about 12 hours a day, and why not be in a position where I can help people when I’m also online. But it is a very big privileged to be here, and very pleased of this position.

Mike: Well as I said before welcome onboard So your in the US military? How are things going as far as thats concerened?

Volty: Well I’m in the US ARMY. And right now on my second tour. I’m in Talil, Iraq. I can’t really say much because of OpSec (Operational Security). But I actually am Military Intel, and as I said before I’m a technician but there’s a lot more than meets the eye. So far it really pleases me though.

Mike: Well please stay safe and on behalf of those back home in the US thanks for everyting that
you’ve done and are doing to keep us safe. Is their anything else you would like to add?

Volty: Well thanks for that. Also wanted to toss out there the TCF domination is just beginning. Also I wanted to congradulate dollabills on his godfather award last round!
