The Mobster News

Well since the news lately has always been about recaps, I thought why not share something a
lilttle different. I wrote this about 3 months back just a reminder to myself on how i first
started out.
I hope it help all of u to recall the memories when you guys first started out.

So here goes…..

My name is RazZ. Its short for RazZMaTazZ..
“You’ve been a Mobster since Jun 15th, 2007″. Thats how long i have been playing the game.

I chanced upon this game while i was going through the list of mobster games. I joined and boy
was i a noob! *LOL*

I got hit bad by the veterans in the game. Being a noob i lost it and bought turns! it was like
20k turns at a time. Just so that i could 0 the guy that hit me!
1 mil per hit was good money to me! yes, that was how nooby i was.

It all changed after a month of playing. I was known as Big D then, yes i know. another noob
name. I was a Don of the noobs, we were called the Untouchables. All the noobs in there was
very co-operative and they listened to me. But still it was a shit ass fam! *LOL*

Till one day a player using just the intial “T” sent me a msg.
“Hi.. can i join ur fam?? I got medals. But i wanna be underboss”
Those were his exact words.
I had an underboss then, his name was Vito.
so i replied
“Why would a player like u with medals wanna join a noob fam?”
he said. “I just like helping families to rank”
i told him i already had an underboss and offered him capo but he still insisted on being
underboss. In the end i talked to Vito about it and i had 2 underbosses.
This player known to me only as “T” joined the fam.

With us being noobs, we had no idea how to rank the fam and we were being attacked. “T” left
the fam saying that he wanna go “spying” and would be back next round. Now as i think back,
dammit he was just going visiting his friends!! and i actually believed him when he said he was
going “spying”! LOL

Anyway he told me to keep my name and said he will look me up the following round.
Which he did, and this time his name was “TGerevini”.

We talked and talked and talked like for the longest time till he decided that, he should teach
me the game fully.
He said, if u have time to play this game, i can teach u about scabbin!

Scabbin?? i never heard that word! There i was happy with my 1 mil per hit and this guy was
teaching me how to get 60 mil per hit! He said it would get my heart racing!

So there i was, a noob talking to him on msn and having the game on and he patiently telling me
everything there is to know about scabbin.. Every little step of the way.

“You gotta be fast!” That was his favourite quote. “Dont worry, u will get faster ;)” he
would always say.

So after about 3 months of playing the game, i was getting the hang of scabbin. He still beat
me to all the scabbs though but i was close behind each time. Every time i would tell myself, i
will be faster than him soon.

There was another thing then, I was with ROT Darklords, together with Incognito and Pitbull.
They were a collector fam and i was learning scabbing. So if my net was high, it would attract
attention to the fam. So i spoke to Pitbull and Incognito, telling them thanks for teaching me
how to collect and to allow me to leave the fam so that i could really learn to scab without
harming others in the fam. So left Darklords and was without a fam.

TG was with the Chosen few then, but also fam hopping and so was I. I was at No Mercy for a
bit. He got me into TCF 2. Guess at the time TCF stills saw me as a noob and didnt allow me
into their main fam. But TG convince them to give me a spot in TCF 2. “Show them wat u can do
k?” he likes to tell me that..
While i was practising scabbing in there, i also got to know a lot of great players whom i am
close to now.
MaxXine, Hawky, Wolfy, Joethebutcher, KroniQ, Morphy and many many others. I talked a lot to
them and they gave me lots of help to in getting better at the game. There were also guys from
Vertigo are the players whom i respect most in the game, coz there were times when i scabbed
them when they were collecting, i always send a sorry message to them instead of being angry
they were always cool about it telling me its fine, it happens its a game and laughed it off.

Of course there are other great players who didnt talk to me seeing me as a noob. But thats
ok.. coz those great players got scabbed good by me one time or the other in the game.
One time me and Hawky had a competition with each other. We had to scab off players from the
BIG fams. CS, BW, IO, DS! We got every single one of them!! LOL

Along the way TG introduced me to another game TMG. There i met great players like Bluntmaster
and Made2Kill. TG told me they were his teachers. I was like i am meeting my teacher’s
teachers!! I should learn more so that i could someday be a great player like them. But the
pace in TMG was a little slow for someone learning scabbin like me. It was just collecting. So
i spend more time focusing on The Mobster.

Remember the thing i promised myself that i would beat TG at scabbin? It did happened.
Once he looked me up on msn and said hey..
“guess wat??
I was hitting this guy just now and guess who was in front of me hitting him first?? :P”
U fucking beat me to it! he said. he was proud i can tell.
and so was i. Finally to beat him to a scab!! LOL

One day TG told me, “i wanna start a fam. Am gonna call it PuNkS! Ur the first guy i have on
the list! I was like finally a family i can call my own. I didnt want to be that guy that
joined a fam just becoz they are ranking every round. Am not a turn whore and never will be.
So when PuNkS started, i see it as i owe TG big time and i made sure i try my best every round
to help the fam rank. One time i even rank 6th and TG was so proud of me. He posted my ranks on
his profile. Made me feel good. And i promised TG i will deliver the medals soon, something
which i know i have to do. and will do ;).

Adham came back and made TG feel alive again. He said i was the reason he decided not to quit
the game and when Adham came back. He said everything is complete now and he will truly enjoy
the game since me and Adham are around. Yes Adham is to TG as wat TG is to me. I know this is
just a game but the friendships we forged with each other are very real. As real as those in
daily lives.

Now i am still learning, and hopefully very soon i will be as good as Tiago Gerevini. But he
always tell me i will be better than him. I dont know why! LOL
I cant thank him enough for teaching me the game and making me the player i am today. I’d
still be a noob if he hadnt come along and took a chance on me. Things he taught me was, not to
scab other scabbers and not to hit anyone in hope of not allowing them to rank. He always say,
just do it better than them and u will beat them.
For that and everything else… i thank u Tiago. Ur a great player, and an even greater
friend.
