The Mobster News

Although round 129 didn’t quite match the excitement of the two previous rounds, it did contain
its fair share of action. A lot of it took place on the game “ Board “ and on the Mobster news
comments of round 128’s recap. A war of words broke out between several families including
members of Punks, TCF, Dark and Outcasts. Harsh words on the boards and a lot of double 0’s
were exchanged during the second half of the round. Sources tell me, members of Dark started
talking a little trash and making comparisons to Dark and there recent success and the veteran
Punks family who have been ranking for a long time. Punks took exception to some of the
comments and preceded to 0 several Dark members. Dark did retaliate and I’m sure each family
would have a different opinion of who won. Also, some Punks members are standing by their
accusations of Dark ranking by cheating or farming with Dark replying that Punks might be
jealous of their recent rise in the ranks. At some point TCF was mentioned due to their
affiliation with Punks, and an Outcast member joined in the war of words which some would
question considering it initially had nothing to do with the Outcast family. To review more of
the comments, refer to the comments on the round 128 recap. And we’ll have to wait and see if
this battle continues into round 130.

In other round 129 news, level 1 ranks had a very strong showing for the first time in a few
rounds. Farts…lol….aka Atomic added another gold medal to his collection with a 1st place
finish. VoltySaysFU took a 2nd place silver medal and following not too far behind him and
getting his first medal is the one and only MrTommygold from Empire. So after a few rounds of
sub par networths in level 1, even as far down as ranks 4 thru 8 raised their game. And to
further prove my point, round 129’s 9th place finisher would have taken a silver medal in round
128. Good job level 1’ers !!!

Level 2 showed up strong as well with Y-Kwah….ohhhhh now I get it, that’s Hawky backwards,
taking first place level 2 gold. Bellas – DirtySouth took a silver medal and Empires –
Beginner closed out the level 2 medals with another bronze medal. Fear and Lady M finished
with high networths, probably hoping for medals but fell a little short with 4th and 5th place
finishes. Apocalypse members, PaddyMurphy and Garret took the top two spots and a combined
$1,300 from the jackpot. That continues the streak of Apocalypse taking the top spots. Gamble
took the level 3 bronze medal followed closely by Gotti Girl in 4th.

Family ranks looked familiar with a certain family at the top……Apocalypse…again. Apocalypse is
run by The Father, previously known as Preacher. Their top rank was achieved mainly due to
their top 2 players, PaddyMurphy and Garret. At this point, no one seems to have the ability
to knock them off the top spot. Bellas Mobb which is run Bella and other times by CJ, once
again found themselves in the top 3 families with a 2nd place rank. They were led by
DirtySouths level 2 silver medal and Gotti Girls level 3 fourth place rank. Not too far behind
them in 3rd place was Coffee Shop which is mainly run by Sawyer recently since The Book Keeper
left. Farts level 1 gold and Gamble’s level 3 bronze were the main contributors towards the
family rank. Empire is led by their Don – Lil Friend. Beginners level 2 bronze medal and
MrTommyGolds level 1 bronze helped earn them a solid 4th place rank. The Chosen Few is led by
Wolfy and they took home 5th place due to Volty’s level 1 silver and Hawkys level 2 gold.

The killer ranks had a couple of big timer killers in round 129. I missed a few days in the
middle of the round and came back to SaveIt, aka Sawyer having over 15 million kills. He
eventually took another gold killer medal with 17.5 millions kills. Andre finished 5 million
kills behind him and took a silver medal. And another 6 million behind him was Sunshine from
CS in 3rd place. Round 129 did no provide a close battle in the killer ranks like round 128,
but there was still a lot of killing. Sources tell me there was also some controversy within
the killer ranks but would not give details. Anyone that may know what happened and wants to
elaborate on the controversy, feel free to comment.

Congrats to all the medal winners, top 10 rankers and those that almost ranked. And here’s a
tip for noobs…sorry, experience challenged mobsters and families, just because you are ranked
top 10 or near the top 10 towards the end of the round, doesn’t mean much. It’s what’s inside
that counts. I’m not sure if anyone else is, but I’m looking forward to round 130 and the 100k
reserves. It’s nice change of pace every 10 rounds. That’s it for the recap, and as always if
