Long forgotten were the days of 10 member families, as we were back to 30 members in round 125.
And the round brought a whole lotta love in honor of St. Valentines Day. Ok, maybe love is
the wrong word to use for the round….how bout’ a little hate. And most of us witnessed the
hate which was best shown between two of cupid’s top mobsters, TheBouncer vs Valentine. Most
of us only dream about the kind if turns these two used, but it sure was fun to watch them use
them. Valentine, aka Cybermafia, stood in very good position to take the gold medal and
jackpot most of the round. Then similar to a couple of rounds ago, someone came outta nowhere
and double 0’d the millions of op’s and du’s Valentine had accumulated. That mobster was
TheBouncer this round, who then built up millions of du’s and op’s himself hoping to secure
gold and the money. But once Valentine logged back in and found he had been whacked, he
promptly returned the favor and double 0’d TheBouncer. And in honor of the St. Valentines Day
Massacre back in 1929, TheBouncer continued the killing by revenging one last time and wiping
out Valentine again. We all waited in anticipation for Valentine to come back on and build
again, but he never logged back on. It was back on February 14th of 1929, when Al Capone had
arranged for Chicago mobster George “Bugs” Moran and most of his North Side Gang to be
eliminated. The plan, was devised by one of Capone’s henchman “Machine Gun” Jack McGurn.
A bootlegger loyal to Capone would draw Moran and his gang to a warehouse at 10:30 am, under
the pretense that they would be receiving a shipment of smuggled whiskey for a price that
proved too good to be true. Capone arranged to distance himself from the assassinations by
spending time at his home in Miami while the heinous act was committed. That snowy morning, a
group of Moran’s men waited for Bugs Moran at the warehouse. While waiting inside the
warehouse, Moran’s men were confronted by the hit men disguised as policemen. Assuming it was
a routine bust, they followed instructions as they were ordered to line up against the wall.
The hit men then opened fire with Thompson submachine guns, killing six of the seven men
immediately. Another later died at the hospital. The St. Valentine’s Day massacre is still
considered on of the most spectacular gangland slayings in mob history. So we thank Valentine
and TheBouncer for giving The Mobster our own ” St Valentines Round Massacre “. Now on to
the ranks !!!

So after all that killing, TheBouncer did take the gold medal and more importantly the jackpot.
DS’s Valentine was forced to settle for 2nd place in Level 3 and CS’s The Book Keeper took the
bronze placing 3rd. A ways behind in 4th was TCF’s Jayweezy followed by Pleasance in 5th.
Dark’s Khamba improved 2 spots and took 6th and ice_man (aka, Mavericks wingman) got the 7th
spot in Level 3 by barely beating out The Legends, Pulp Fiction. Punk – rob finished 9th and
DBTexco from Bellas closed out the level 3 ranks in 10th.

Level 2 gold was taken easily by Phaedrus from CS giving him his 1st gold…..make that his 12th,
geez…lol !!!! A Punkified Few and a Chosen Punk took the silver and Bronze. Great job
eElLaAdDgG and Wolfy !!!! Taco finished 4th and the ChessPrince took 5th place….haha….ok it
was chekm8king in 5th. Level 2 ranks 6th thru 10th was a tight race separated by 4 billion.
In order, Punk – Friction, Darkstalker – Fuse, CS – Narc0tiX, Dominion’s – Ricky and lastly
Donjos.

The Punks Dangermouse got his first medal, a Level 1 gold, by doing a great job scabbing all
round !!!! Twenty bill behind him was EVILZ who ranked 2nd and Cryptic got the bronze medal
by barely edging out Empires – Cleaner who ranked 4th. ViejoDragon took the 5th spot, Chosen
Volt took 6th and Uncle Freddy took 7th in a very close battle for ranks 3rd thru 7th.
TheSlayer, Leathernutz and GeneralHaven rounded out the level 1 ranks.

Killer gold went to Gamble who went on a Valentines massacre of his own in the middle of the
round. WaldoMarlone took 2nd place killer with consistent killing all round long. TheBouncer
finished 3rd in killing after his back and forth battle with Valentine who took 5th place.
Suspect finished 4th which was disappointing cause he wanted that Bronze medal I’m sure.
YakillaCJ got 6th and Interdamn finished 7th. Vengeance took the 8th place rank followed by
Maxxine and Dark Rider in 9th and 10th. Honorable mention to the 11th place killer, Lil Friend
who was severely hindered for most of the round by banners that made it nearly impossible to
play, let alone kill. 

Family ranks took a strange twist near the end of the round after TheBouncer joined Gambino
Allstars which gave them the 1st place rank. Not to far behind thanks to Valentine, was
Darkstalkers who took 2nd. Coffee Shop took their best rank in a few rounds by finishing 3rd.
Dark Mudererz placed 5th and was spooned between The Punkified Few And The Chosen Punkified who
took 4th and 6th respectively. Bellas Mobb finished lucky number 7 and a newer family, The
Legends, finished a solid 8th. Last but not least were Empire and Dominion who closed the top
10 family ranks with 9th and 10th.

In other news, the controversial banners seem to be causing free players a lot of heart and
headaches with very slow game play. There are options to help but I think most mobsters agree,
we could do without so many banners and ad’s. Also, prizes and/or turns were decreased
starting this round which had many mobsters angered and fueled comments on The Mobster News
