Usually when someone writes an article, it is about top players, ranking families and Mass
killers. But what about the other players? Like the ones that are learning how to play and
trying to find the right way to do things. There are only 10 families that rank per round and
most of these have supporters, scabbers and level 2 collectors. So I wanted to take a look and
have a chat with a few of these 100% free player families that are trying to refine their
techniques and/or just trying to have fun.

First I started off with Dingle_Berry who has just launched a new family called The_Outfit. He
told me in a Pm that: ‘’So My New Family that was just kicked off, THE_OUTFIT, a very well
known family in the real world back in the 60’s and 70’s. Right now we are in the process of
become well known and promoting our family. We are looking for experienced veterans and loyal
members. We currently have two level 2 players in the family who are main assets. We focus on
teamwork, and commitment. We take newcomers under our wing and show them the ropes of the game.
We explain how to be successful and once everybody gets on board with rules and tactics we will
be EXTREMELY successful. So new or old we accept all and we love to have fun. I give all of my
credit to Mafee and Chekm8king. Without those 2 I wouldn’t be able to lead a family with such
high standards. Anyways look out for us in a few rounds and happy hunting mobsters, and Happy
Holidays.’’

My next interview was with Specdro, Don of The Cuseballers. He pointed out that: ‘’We are a
very loyal bunch despite not ranking on our own most of my guys been playing under these colors
for almost 20 weeks now. xxxSpader79 and myself started the family in round 99, in round 100
Bizzarro joined us and has been here since. Now any of our guys that are ranked soldier or
higher have been with us for at least 5 rounds which you can see is most of our family. Spader,
MasterBaiter, SammytheStreetSwpr, and myself
are all from Syracuse, NY area (home of the orange, hence the CuseBallers). My personal
objective is to create a structure to our family. One where everyone knows their position and
follows it accordingly. I feel with loyalty and structure you can have a family that can do
anything whether they are all free players or not. So far we haven’t had any
supporters in our family.

Then I interviewed a familiar name, MDBSPCAWS4LIFE , Don of the family that bears his name. He
had something to say to all those haters out there: ‘’ We just try to rank, but my family, and
alliances usually consist of a entire network of free players that get pushed around by the
family players with all the account turns. However we’re
getting stronger, and there are more of us coming together, to get as good as the other
families with the turns. Those families should stop pushing around the noobs, we’ll soon be
just as good.’’

Wise words, My friend

As a final interview, I conversed with DarK, Head of the DarKneSS family. He said: ‘’ Like i
said this fam. is new, but still every member has to do a job (some act like
protectores, others are collectors, then again some are looter… etc)
Are main goal for now is to gain respect, after that comes ranking… ‘’

In Conclusion, I was able to notice that each one of these families has a will to get better
and a lot of ambition. They understand the basics of how it works, that you need Supporters,
Collectors, Looters and ‘’protectors’’. Loyalty is important and that respect is something that
is gained in time. Family structure is also a key to a good long term development.

To the experienced and ranking players, I say this: We have all been by there and this is where
we learned how to play, maybe not how to rank, but how to play. It is also in small families
like these that you will find the best qualities and values around. They stick together to try
and find a way to the top.

To the new players: Try and find yourself a family like the ones above, where the people are
willing to help and respect you. Stay with them and you will climb the hierarchy ladder. Some
day we might see you on the Last Round Winners page. For now, Watch, Learn, Listen and Try new
stuff. Don’t be afraid to f*ck up. No one will notice but you!
