Round 156 was a round in which we saw glimpses of the past glory days of Themobster. Our friend TheBouncer from round 154 made a return this time with the name JohnGotti and this time sporting a purple icon vs that ugly brown one he had before. (more…)

I decided to take the time and do this for two reasons, 1. I had some spare time and 2. I felt
like writing it.
So what did we have last round? Strong lvl 2 ranks and respected lvl 3 ranks.
The round started pretty cool as lil friend(empire) went for gold with 540k ops, he built
pretty early and banked 50bil or so. It probably was a mistake he made cause he only finished
with a bronze after tri dude(cs) and cadet(tcf) passed him, cadet for silver and tri for gold
with 640bil net, that was one of the strongest rounds for lvl 2 ranks since the levels were

The round started on somewhat of a slow, as well as frustrating note, as TheSlayer decided to go for ANOTHER, YES, ANOTHER, Gold Killer Award. I say this as I, like just about everyone else in the game, were a Victim to the Legend that IS TheSlayer.
Wolfy Boss of TCF, coming off his Gold Lvl 2 medal decided not to make it easy for Slayer, as he built to kill as well, taking out every du in sight, including going to battle with Slayer! Wolfy dropped turns like J-Lo dropped P. Diddy! J As they went back and forth zeroing each other, and everyone else, Sneakz just kept a low profile killing all along! Then the FIREWORKS began! Round 154 has to be one of the most exciting rounds I have seen in my relativly short carear as a mobster. Many exciting things happened including the return of the infamous, The_Book_Keeper. Well I was looking thru the list of mobsters worthy of an interview and I thought, who better than last rounds double gold winner and the newest member of staff, the one, the only Volty.

Mike: So how long have you been playing thembster.com and how did you first find out about the game?

Volty: Well I’ve been playing for 3 years as of September 16th and my brother introduced me to the game.

Mike: So you’ve been around pretty much since the beginning. I hear those were quite the glory days of the game. I would have liked to have been around back then. So what was the game like in your eyes when you first started playing?
