Round 152 started out on an exciting note, as it appeared as though Bella’s World’s
Heavy Hitters Renegade and Scream went on somewhat of a killing spree with Renegade
a.k.a. Suspect getting into a mini-war with none other than our head mod, Lady_M who
usually doesn’t participate in such Barbaric actions, (hey whattaya gonna do huh? its
Suspect) Lady_M was coaxed into slapping Renegade around a little because of him zeroing her!
Our Friend Suspect also did a drive-by on JustJohnd1968, which provoked him to zero
Suspect, which led to Scream smacking JJD1968 over the head with a double 0. Also,
Kriss_Da_Boss (a.k.a. Voltage) fell victim to the wrath of Scream midway through the round, as
he was also smacked with a nice set of 0 0s. (more…)

Just when it appeared as though the round would end without much in the way of action, to be blunt, “all hell broke loose”. Former Bellas World member Renegade, aka Suspect built for gold in the last minutes of the round, and left Bellas World to join TCF. Well here I sit as yet another exciting round of The Mobster has come and gone. Round 152 saw a jackpot for level 3 higher than I have ever seen since I’ve been playing. In fact, After quickly looking over the past round winners, it would appear you would have to go back about 50 rounds, nearly one year, to find something in the ballpark of $1800.

The round also had a period of about 7-8 hours where nobody could log in because the server was down. Nobody was compensated for the down time as Omar stated the reason as “everyone was affected equally.”

The round started off slow but I think everything got started last week when I wrote a post on the news board asking for people to come forward with any information they have regarding record holders. In the process, someone came forward and mentioned that the MDBSPCAWS4LIFE family has been around for a long time and never seems to rank. and a Mr. Mobster contestant so lets get this rolling.

Okay so how long you been playing?

Been playing since April 2006. I was asked to join by Ciccio while on a ski trip. Told me he
was a Mobster and was a member of a good family. So I joined him and we started in some
halfass noob crew, Then I joined Imperial for a few rounds before Ciccio got me into the Demarco
Union. We started off with The Rangers and then Ciccio got noticed by The Reapers so he
managed to get me in their with him. About 5 rounds later when our top 2 players when to TKT, me and
him took over and ran thatfor over 30 rounds. (more…)

I’ve taken the time over the past few days to look back and admire the rankings from previous rounds and couldn’t help but sit back and dream about the “glory days of mobster” when supporters were busy setting records on a regular basis and just about every rank was highly contested.

Since regretfully I was not around during these times, I am unaware of some of the great feats that have been accomplished such as those that managed to pull off a double gold and other various records. (more…)

Let me just start off by saying first of all I don’t have the patience nor the scabbing skills required to rank as a free player. When I play as a free player I usually just use my actives to recruit nothing but theives and card dealers. Then, after a few days, hopefully I have about 150k ops and I use my reserves to collect and hopefully bank around 2 billion.

The problems with that strategy are that obviously you are leaving your ops defensless and and lets face it, if someone decides to take you out for whatever reason, your round is pretty much shot. Also I can tell you from personal experience that say you do manage to bank around 2 billion, you will only be able to purchase about 1.5 million aks if your lucky and that only gives you a networth of about 9 billion, which is not even close to being good enough to rank. Plus, after you have done this, you can pretty much kiss your ops goodbye, something else I could also tell you from personal experience.
