We’ve all heard about John Gotti, aka The Dapper Don, aka The Teflon Don. He was most known
for his time as Boss of the Gambino Crime Family which was one of the “ Five Families “ in New
York City. John Joseph “Johnny Boy” Gotti Jr. was born in the South Bronx to John Gotti
Sr. and Philomena “Fannie” Gotti, he was the fifth child of thirteen. When Gotti was twelve,
his family moved to Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, a very tough and dangerous neighborhood. As a
young boy, Gotti had to fight often as was common in that neighborhood, and he became a rough
street fighter that ran errands for the local wiseguys. Gotti focused more on his street
education and less on his formal one. When Gotti was sixteen he quit school for good and
joined the Fulton-Rockaway Boys, a local teenage gang that stole automobiles, fenced stolen
goods, and rolled drunks which got him arrested several times. (more…)

Long forgotten were the days of 10 member families, as we were back to 30 members in round 125.
And the round brought a whole lotta love in honor of St. Valentines Day. Ok, maybe love is
the wrong word to use for the round….how bout’ a little hate. And most of us witnessed the
hate which was best shown between two of cupid’s top mobsters, TheBouncer vs Valentine. Most
of us only dream about the kind if turns these two used, but it sure was fun to watch them use
them. Valentine, aka Cybermafia, stood in very good position to take the gold medal and
jackpot most of the round. Then similar to a couple of rounds ago, someone came outta nowhere
and double 0’d the millions of op’s and du’s Valentine had accumulated. That mobster was
TheBouncer this round, who then built up millions of du’s and op’s himself hoping to secure

Round 124, some say the worst round ever expirienced on mobster, came and so gladly went away.
Thanks to Omars infinite mercy, the round was not extended by 3 days. And what a great round
it
was. On the contrary to round 123, which allowed 30 members in a family, round 124 split that
number to only 10, a third of the round before. If 30 member families allowed every member
of the given family to join, 10 only split them up. Entire families were forced to split
into Unions, and immediatly the effects started to kick in. Omars exeptional idea did not
recieve warm welcomes, and nearly entire mobster population despised the idea. Family boards
were without messages, family communication slowed, the game became simply boring. (more…)

Looking at the new lowered NW turns prizes makes me scoff and was the last straw to compelling
me to spill some ideas I have had for quite some time. As we all have seen, there is no
question that themobster.com has hit a dry spell for the most part, starting from its peak of
a
stable 3k per round now falling to a 1k jackpot which only touches 2k at times. Here are a few
suggestions and thoughts I have had on the reasons for this decline and also maybe some ways
for … people to improve it. (more…)

Whew…w…w, it’s over !!!! Finally round 124 is over and it’s 10 members per family. I
don’t know anyone that liked the 10 members and TCF said it best with their family names. And
they turned them into very nice family ranks taking 1st, 3rd, and 5th. Good job fellas !!!
Brand New took a solid 2nd place and Coffee Shop took 6th place. Bellas, IO and IM followed a
recent trend by combining their names and Bellas Outlaws represented with a 4th place ranking
and Immortal Mob finished 7th. Dark families took the last 2 family spots to continue their
recent showing in the family ranks. Their were some high networths so great job to the ranking
