How did you stumble across the mobster and do you stick to the same name every round?

I was emailed the link to mobster from a friend (NapalmDeath) when he was on staff here back in round 2 or 3 and I have allways used the same name. Never felt the need to hide lol

You seem to have been around since the game started, what was your first family you joined?

The first round I played was with the WhiskeyHooligans, we never played to rank, just to annoy the bigger families whenever we could ! (more…)

How did the name Book Keeper come about?

I first used the name in about round 6 or 7 for a couple of rounds when i was in Dillingers_Gang, but Cain was my regular name back then. I guess i chose it as TBK is the mafia’s accountant.. Back then people used names connected with the mobster theme, now anything seems to go.

Why don’t you ever appear on the board?

I used to go on the board along time ago from about rounds 10-30 but i stopped going on there due to certain reasons. (more…)

I believe I saw an ad somewhere. I had played similar games in the past and decided to check it out. Yes I always go by the same name. I had another for about two rounds at some point but that was it.

Not much has been happening lately. This round see a little tit for tat between The Chosen Few and IO. Word has it IO dealt the first blow with some op killing. The Chosen Few as people know don’t back down from a scrap and took most of them out, with IO returning the favour.

Not so much a war, more like handbags at twenty paces.

The mobster hasnt seen a full scale war for many rounds now.

But something may be brewing….

It seems a certain mobster by the name of Enigma is planning the downfall of Coffee Shop. As any mobster knows, CS as of now is arguabely the best family in the game. Many have tried to take down the family but have failed, including whole families — unions and some of the biggest supporters on mobster. What people fail to realise is that Coffee Shop and most of its members inside and outside of the family have been around from when mobster first came online.

People say that every great era must end…..so could this be the end of the Coffee
Shop reign as we know it? But to do that would mean that it happens for many rounds to chase them off the game..

Next round might hold a few more suprises than the people of mobster expect….

Suggestions of this grand plan so far seem to be that Enigma will talk them into submission, a profile changing massacre or annoy them so much untill they cant take no more.

I mean COME ON!

What king of a gangster plays an internet text based game where you PRETEND to be mobsters. I hate losers that come and be all like “IM THA STRAIG’ UP BLOOD OG MY HOMIEZ FOMMA KILL YA CRABS”. Honest to god I think these “gangsters” never even seen anything not even on TV because their mommys dont allow them to watch PG-13 movies. (more…)

A new system has been implemented into themobster. Supporters will now automatically turn to free status if they dont buy turns within 60 days. It was introduced last night and alot of people have their free status back..
