Hello Cyber, can you tell us how you stumbled across themobster and why you picked the name cybermafia?

I found the link from one of Omar’s game PimpsLord and decided to check it out. I picked the name cybermafia to match the nature of the game, a mafia game and its online so cyber would fit in nicely.

Whats the first family you joined and did you try your luck at being a supporter straight away?

I was a loner and not really get into the game after I registered. I would log in and play around and never log back in for a few weeks. Then one day, I was determined to learn the game more because pimpslord was getting boring. So while i was learning my way around I got zeroed and whenever I rebuild I keep getting zeroed. I got frustated and bought more turns. I started my own family because I realized that people with family icons would have higher chance staying alive. As I was building I got an invite from Eastside Immortal and the family was ranked 2nd so i joined them.

What was it like trying for your 1st gold supporter medal?

It was not easy and Gate made it pretty expensive for me. (more…)

A “council” has been meeting more and recently to discuss the issue of when to bring Gambino back and how, their are people working on a new forum as we speak and I believe even a freewebs page as well, they are going to use the first Gambino icons ever seen…and as for when, they’ve been having trouble deciding, but it’s been said by each of the 7 Dons that they want to do it sooner rather than later

Regardless to the obvious fact that a great deal of the mobster game hates Gambinos, they appear to be as active as ever. Although it seems a few of the 7 Dons have made some very good alliances since Gambino disbanded around 15 rounds ago. None the less around 70% of the game hates Gambinos still, one thing is certain, once they come back they are going to be targeted at by a few families who 00′d them, to let everyone know that this new Gambino will not backdown from anyone. Even from players such as Bollox or Arc_Angel and yes most likely it will be a blood bath, but they want to honor their union. –>

What are profiles? A profile on www.themobster.com is something as simple as your own picture with a description or comment at the bottom, or a picture that can be generated from the Mobster Generator within the game. Most experienced players have a .swf file or flash file that has moving pictures and words on them. Some players use a youtube file as there profile animation. Some of these profiles are very cool but complex. The more moving items the more complex the file.

How can you get one?

There are many ways to obtain a profile on the game. One way is to know someone who has the knowledge in making profiles and will do it for free, or two pay someone to make you one. Payment for profiles can range anywhere from buying turns for the profile maker or doing some dirty work for the profile maker. Another way you can make a profile is find a picture on any web site and use that or you can use any animation as well. (more…)

Well Gambino started off very small way back in round 6. Likemany noob families we thought that ranking was important early on in the round and managed to get up to 3rd before dillinger_gang wiped the floor with us - after then we kept ourselves hidden and managed to rank a few times. I started branching out with extension families and I think we ended up with 25 at one time…

YOUVE BEEN AWAY QUITE A WHILE,WERE YOU DISCOURAGED WHEN GAMBINO WAS TORN APART?

I was shocked to tell you the truth, i’ve been around a bit and whenever I came on I heard people look for any Gambino to kill. I can’t believe that the Gambino union fell from one of the respected fams to one of the most hated - no-one ever told me why but i hope it wasn’t something I did

WHO HAVE YOUR MOST HATED ENEMIES BEEN?

It’s probably a bit arrogant but I never really had enemies on Mobster. Most hits that came my way were noobs or retribution for some idiot in my fam. The only big fight I’ve ever had was with Pyro over the Donship of Gambino but that only lasted about 2 days.

WHAT IF ANY PLANS DO YOU HAVE FOR THE FUTURE? WILL GAMBINO BE RETURNING AS A FORMIDABLE FORCE AGAIN?

It’s hard to say. I was planning to bring Gambino back but with the name being so hated I’m not so sure that would be a good move to make. I am definitely starting a new union but the name is a bit unclear at the minute - I think I need some more late night drinking sessions till I have an epiphony. (more…)
