Round 240 got off to a quick start with a battle between Goldengate and Wait”N”Kill but many of us were left dissapointed after it appeared Goldengate backed off after being 00′d yet again. I for one thought that Wait-N-Kill was simply trying to keep all the competion 00′d in order to pull of a double gold at the end of the round. Instead after about 5 days of 00′ing nearly the entire game, Wait-N-Kill stuck to what amounted to free killing and came away with a bronze level 3 killer medal instead. This will be my first recap since July so too say that I’m a little rusty would be an understatement.

The round was full of all sorts of Halloween themes, except from the Admin who failed to make this a 100k reserve round. Are we ever going to have another 100k round? Will Vengeance ever have to defend his BKE? If memory Read the rest of this entry »

With all of the changes that have happened during the past year, I have to admit that I’m a little suprised at how well the game seems to be surviving despite many unhappy players.

Well its been a very long time since anybody has posted anything up on this news site but its mostly due to the fact that the people that write the articles either left the game or more or less stopped playing. Their is no doubt that this post will probably go unread for sometime since their would be no reason to check out the news site but eventually it will strike someones curiosity to check and then people will start coming to check more frequently.

It would appear that the game has somewhat stabalized from the nearly constant changes that had been taking place more or less over the past six months. All in all alot of the changes have been reversed. I know most people, myself included are happy that the family sizes are back to 20. Their have been some changes to the staff as well with some long time helpers becoming mods and some mods either leaving the game or resigning their positions. We have a new helper in Chongo as well.

All in all the dust has settled and were left with a new mobster. One that lacks most of the fun and excitment of the glory days and one that usually includes a un-contested jackpot.

So here we are, June 2009, will their be a mobster in June 2010? time will tell. I’m interested to here your comments on here about the changes that have taken place and your opinions about the future of the site.

Hopefully this will spark a desire for people to start writting more articles.
